Today I have a gorgeous Estee Lauder Ferris Wheel Solid Perfume Compact that contains the original "Pleasures" fragrance. The gold tone compact depicts a familiar ride at any carnival, fair or circus - the ferris wheel! The compact is one of Estee Lauder's most intricate and elaborate designs and it comes unboxed for extra savings. The compact is beautifully enameled in red, blue and green, decorated with stars and studded with sparkling red, blue and clear Swarovski crystals. There are even little red "chairs" that swing freely and one can actually make the ferris wheel spin by turning the gold tone handle on the side! It is truly a miniature work of art! The metal latch keeps the compact tightly closed so one can still catch a whiff of the wonderful fragrance. The compact has the Estee Lauder maker's mark engraved inside it. There is shrinkage and discoloration of the perfume due to age. The compact is in excellent condition with all crystals present. The compact measures 3" tall, 2" wide at the widest point and 1-1/2" in depth including the crank handle. The velvet pouch is included. This exquisite compact was only produced one time and would make a nice addition for an Estee Lauder collector or for anyone who loves the circus!
